Using 4 Official Languages (官方语文)

每日特写(30/12/2011, 星期五):

1130hrs弹钢琴练习, 成功弹奏5次‘月亮代表我的心’和2次‘绿岛小夜曲’, 1630hrs步行运动，步行40分钟后, 步行去文礼坊吃鸡饭（$3). 在路上有年青人派发传单, 印有四种新加坡官方语文的传单, 我很喜欢这样的传单. 在路上, 看见旗帜, 同样以四种新加坡官方语文展示, 通知文礼坊居民将有一大型新年晚会: 2012文礼倒数新年晚会. 我很感动, 很喜欢有四种新加坡官方语文的东西.

Daily Log (30/12/2011, Friday):

At 1130hrs I played the piano and I managed to play 5 counts of complete 'The Moon Represents My Heart' and 2 counts of complete  'Green Island Serenade'. At 1630hrs, after brisk walking exercise for 40 minutes, I walked to Boon Lay Place hawker centre for dinner, I had chicken rice at $3. On the way, I met youth distributing flyers, On these flyers printed 4 official languages – Chinese, Malay, English and Tamil – it was excellence.  I also saw banners put up along the way to Boon Lay Place hawker centre, again, using 4 official languages on the banners to inform the people of Boon Lay Place there would be a 2012 new year countdown event.  I liked those flyers and banners. (Malay: Aku suka dan aku amat gembira)

0555hrs起床, 是自动醒来的。量体重67.2kg。做晨运，步行40分钟, 用MP3听广播。12月的天气凉, 穿长袖衫和长裤做晨运。

梳洗后0745hrs早餐，吃四片全麦面包，一个西红柿和 一些生菜, 喝一杯咖啡, 看电视’早安您好’8頻道。

0845hrs每天学马来文, 第497句,

1010hrs读新加坡故事。

1100 hrs 弹钢琴，练习‘月亮代表我的心’和 ‘绿岛小夜曲’。

1200 hrs在我家楼下的咖啡店吃午餐，吃杂菜饭, 两菜一肉饭.( $2.90)。

1300 hrs 看电视新闻，8频道。同步进行，复习5句马来文。

1430hrs看香港连续剧《不速之约》.第10 - 13集.

1630 hrs步行运动， 步行40分钟。1730晚餐, 在我家楼下的咖啡店吃鸭饭和排骨汤.( $3.50)。

1745 看香港连续剧《不速之约》.第14集.

1830看电视新闻，8频道。

1900 看韩剧《善德女王》U频道。

2000看电视《与死神共餐》 U频道.。

2100看电视剧《星洲之夜》 8频道.

2200 看电视新闻，8频道.

Daily Log (29/12/2011, Thursday):

Naturally wake up at 0555hrs, Checked body weight 67.2kg. Brisk walking exercise for 40 minutes while listened to the radio with MP3. The December weather was cold, I had to don long-sleeved shirts and trousers for morning brisk walking exercise.

After washed up at 0745hrs I had 4 slices of wholemeal bread, a tomato and some lettuce, a cup of coffee for breakfast, and watched TV 'Good morning Singapore ' on Channel 8.  

0845hrs self study daily Malay lesson No 497.

1010hrs read ‘The Singapore Story’.

1100hrs I played the piano - practicing 'The Moon Represents My Heart' and  'Green Island Serenade'.

1200hrs, I had lunch at the coffee shop downstairs - 2 vegetable dishes and a meat meal at $ 2.90.

1300hrs watched TV news on Channel 8. simultaneously doing revision for Malay.

1430hrs watched Hong Kong drama series.

1630hrs brisk walking exercise for 40 minutes.

1730hrs dinner at the coffee shop downstairs - duck rice and pork ribs soup at $3.50.

1745hrs watched Hong Kong drama series.

1830hrs watched TV news on Channel 8.

1900hrs watched Korean drama "Queen Seon" on Channel U.

2000hrs watched TV "Death meals" Channel U.

2100hrs watched the TV drama "A song to remember" on Channel 8.

2200hrs watched TV news on Channel 8.

'Platform' (月台)

0930hrs搭地铁去金文泰游泳. 1030hrs开始游泳。1100hrs完成1000米, 结束游泳.  1150hrs午餐, 在金文泰小贩中心吃云吞面($2.50). 1210hrs搭地铁回文礼站. 地铁列车经过裕廊东站, 看见有中文指示布告牌, 我被’月台’两个中文字吸引住, 心里有无限感慨, 地铁站出现了中文字指示布告牌.

Daily Log (28/12/2011, Wednesday):

At 0930hrs I took a MRT train to Clementi Swimming Complex for my weekly swimming exercise. At 1030hrs started swimming. At 1100hrs I had completed 1,000m. At 1150hrs lunch at Clementi hawker center, I took wonton noodles at $ 2.50. At 1210hrs I took a train back to Boon Lay station. At Jurong East Station, I saw signboards with Chinese,  'platform' (月台) the two Chinese characters attracted me, it was heart touching to have seen Chinese words on signboard at MRT station.

0850hrs每天学马来文, 第495句. 0955hrs读新加坡故事。1130hrs弹钢琴，练习‘月亮代表我的心’和 ‘绿岛小夜曲’。1200hrs 出门去裕廊坊吃午餐，吃Nasi Padang, 以会员储值卡付账, 享受10%折扣. 1300hrs看电视新闻，8频道。同步进行，把窗帘布放回去. 1400hrs看香港连续剧《不速之约》.第5, 6集. 1630hrs步行运动，步行40分钟。1800hrs晚餐, 吃两个煎蛋夹在四片全麦面包里, 一些生菜, 喝波菜汤, 看香港连续剧《不速之约》.第7集. 

Daily Log (27/12/2011, Tuesday):

At 0850hrs Daily Malay lesson No 495. At 0955hrs Read the ‘Story of Singapore’. At 1130hrs played the piano - practicing 'The Moon Represents My Heart' and  'Green Island Serenade'. At 1200hrs Went out for lunch at Jurong Point, I had Nasi Padang and foot the bill using membership card in order to enjoy 10% discount. At 1300hrs watched TV news on channel 8 and simultaneously put up the curtains. At 1400hrs watched Hong Kong drama series. 1630hrs brisk walking exercise for 40 mins. 1800hrs I took dinner -  took two fried eggs in sandwiches of 4 slices of wholemeal bread, some lettuce, and spinach soup. Watching Hong Kong drama series while taking dinner.

Boon Lay Place (文礼坊)

Sunday School Day (主日学日)

圣诞节. 0915hrs搭地铁东西线去联邦站, 再转搭巴士195号. 1000hrs到达基督渔人团契. 今天是主日学日, 由学员上台表演学习到的圣经教导. 1215hrs主日学日演出和福音布道结束, 我搭巴士32号到联邦站, 在联邦站毗邻的食阁吃午餐. 我吃一碗云吞面($3.30)。

Daily Log (25/12/2011, Sunday):

Christmas Day. At 0915hrs I took a train to Commonwealth Station, and from there took a bus No 195. At 1000hrs arrived at The ‘Fisherman of Christ’ Fellowship. It was ‘Sunday School Day’, students performed on stage what they had learned in Bible teaching. At 1215hrs students’ performance and evangelism ended. I took a bus No. 32 to Commonwealth Station and had lunch at the food court adjacent to the MRT station. I had  wanton noodles at $ 3.30.

Silent Night (平安夜)

1800hrs 晚餐, 我和两个女儿一起吃两份双层牛肉汉堡包和一鸡肉汉堡包.

It was silent night, Joyce and friends in Harbin from 21/12/2011 to 28/12/2011.

1800hrs I had dinner with my daughters, and we took two prosperity double burgers and a chicken burger..

MIO TV 收播器

女儿买了一个平板电脑, 要买一片和手机相同号码的SIM卡, 收费是$48.90. 如果装置MIO TV收播器, 每月付$9.90, 便可以豁免付SIM卡收费$48.90. 还有MIO TV收播器可以只用一个月. 一个月之后可以随意结束MIO TV收播器装置, 不必再付款.

她决定接受MIO TV收播器装置, 只付$9.90得到SIM卡, 也可以有一个月时间看MIO TV上的电视节目.

今天1030hrs有两位工作人员上门为我家装置MIO TV收播器.

和MIO TV工作人员约定在1100 - 1300hrs上门, 那是我出门用午餐的时间, 为了配合约会时间, 我做晨运后. 步行去昇菘超市买烧肉，莲蓉包, 蕃茄, 黄瓜. 鸡爪. 波菜。买了准备午餐的食材. 今天煮饭和焖冬菇鸡爪, 冬菇是家中常备的食材, 前一天晚上已经把冬菇浸泡水中过夜备用.

Daily Log (23/12/2011, Friday):

My daughter bought a iPad, and had to buy a SIM card which born the common number with her hand-phone for the iPad.  The SIM card was charged $48.90, but if you install a unit of MIO TV device at home, it charged $ 9.90 per month and could be waived from payment of the SIM card. Furthermore, the MIO TV could be terminated after one month if you did not want to continue.

Hence, she accepted the installation of a MIO TV device, and paid $ 9.90 to get the SIM card, at the same time have one month period to watch the MIO TV programme.

Today at 1030hrs 2 MIO TV staffs came to my home to install the device.

The appointment made was 1100 - 1300hrs, it was the time I usually go out for lunch. So I had to stay at home instead of go out for lunch. I went to Sheng Siong supermarket to buy some food after my morning brisk walking exercise. I bought BBQ pork, lotus seed paste buns, tomatoes, cucumber. chicken feet and spinach. The previous night I had already soaked the mushrooms in water, and I cooked mushrooms with stew chicken feet for my lunch today.

Many Books (很多书本)

从前, 有一个人有一个花瓶, 为了要摆设花瓶, 他买了一个装饰柜来摆设花瓶. 他的居所并不宽大, 装饰柜占据地方. 花瓶没有别的用途, 只是一个装饰品. 如果把花瓶和装饰柜送走, 地方就宽畅多了. 可是花瓶和装饰柜跟随了他十多年, 他舍不得送走, 现在还是占据了他的地方.

我有很多书本: 小说寻梦园系列, 三国演义连环画, 金庸武侠小说系列等等. 放在书柜里只是装饰. 我的处境和那人一样, 舍不得送走书本.

 Daily Log (22/12/2011, Thursday ):

There was a man who had a vase. In order to display the vase, he had bought a cabinet to put the vase. However, his home is not spacious, the cabinet took up space. The vase was just for decoration without any other function. Very often the man wanted get rid of them, but the vase and cabinet had been followed him many years, and he was reluctant to do so.

I have many books – Chinese novels series, comic books of Romance of Three Kingdoms, Jin Yong's martial arts novels series, etc. these books on the bookcase is just decoration. My situation alike the man with the vase.
