信实

信实

2015年5月30日，我出席了第28届东南亚运动会开幕典礼的彩排。主办者给每位观众分发（借出）一枚会发光的奖牌，十分美观，我曾起了占有之心，但是圣灵在我心中，要我信实，主办者在分发时再三叮属，典礼结束时离开前必须交还。我没有把这奖牌占为己有 -- 信实。

路加福音4章3 - 12节，你若是神的儿子，可以吩咐这块石头变成食物。耶稣回答说，经上记着说，人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠神口里所出的一切话。魔鬼又领他上了高山，霎时间把天下的万国都指给他看。对他说，这一切权柄荣华，我都要给你。因为这原是交付我的，我愿意给谁就给谁。你若在我面前下拜，这都要归你。耶稣说，经上记着说，当拜主你的神，单要事奉他。魔鬼又领他到耶路撒冷去，叫他站在殿顶上，对他说，你若是神的儿子，可以从这里跳下去。因为经上记着说，主要为你吩咐他的使者保护你。他们要用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。耶稣对他说，经上说，不可试探主你的神。

有很多人因为有社会地位，有权势，能呼风唤雨，能把黑变成白，能把石头变成食物，滥用职权，徇私枉法，私饱中囊。

为官者与人方便，就可得荣华富贵，是至富的捷径，俸禄十年也不可能买下半个新加坡，你若在我面前下拜（给我方便），这都归你。

你有很强大的靠山，收下这些东西，不会有太大的问题，你的靠山会罩住你，靠山会用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。

信主之后，常常想到圣经的教导，我没有把这发光的奖牌占为己有，那是随手可得的，因为圣经的教导，信实，使我不占为己有。我信靠主耶稣，不为食物，荣华富贵，不会因为有强大的靠山，就没有了信实。

Today, at a bakery at Jurong Point, I gave a 5 dollars notes to the lady cashier for a pack of bread cost 2 dollars, this lady cashier chit-chat with another lady helper as she performed her job, she acted distract and returned me a change of 1 dollar. I stayed there. She acted realise that something went wrong, she asked me in Mandarin, 'How much you gave me.' I said, 'I gave you five dollars.' She then gave me another 2 dollars.

Some dishonest hawkers intentionally make mistake on lesser change to customers during payment. Usually customers did not check and left and these dishonest hawkers had succeeded. If the customers checked and found out, then they pretended that it was just a mistake in calculation and make it up correctly.
I completed my regular 1500m swam at Clementi Pool on 14/4/2010. At a coffee shop where I decided to buy 2 dumpling for $2.60. I paid the stall holder two $2 notes and she gave me a change of 40 cents, and immediately she turned away on other work.
I have several cases when incorrect changes were made previously to me. I said, ‘Hi!’. Without saying a single word, and I just opened my palm and show her that 40 cents. She pretended making an error in calculation and paid me another $1 make up.
I was not sure it was another case of dishonesty I had encountered.

今天，在裕廊坊一家面包店，我付5元抄票给女收银员买一包2块钱的面包，这位女收银员一边和另一位女助手聊天，一边收钱，她故意装成心不在焉。她找回我1元。我呆在那里。她装成意识到出问题，她用普通话问我：“你给了我多少钱？”我说：“我给你五块钱。”然后，她再找给我2块钱。

2010年4月15日，5年前，我在面簿博客上写了下面的贴文。

有些小贩不老实，是小贩行业的害群之马，当顾客付款，须要找钱时，故意算错，找钱少给顾客，顾客往往没有注意到，收了找钱看也不看就离开，不老实的小贩就得手了。如果顾客算一算，发现找少钱时，就假装算错，再补足找钱给顾客。

2010年4月14日，我去金文泰游泳，完成1500米。我经过金文泰游泳毗邻的一间咖啡店买两粒粽子，问明价钱，两粒粽子$2.60。我付她两张$2钞票，她找回四毛钱给我，找钱后，装得很忙的样子，马上转身做别的事。

因为我遇到好几回这样的事，早有心里准备，叫住她：‘喂！’。我张开手掌给她看手掌上只有四毛钱，示意找错了。她马上假装算错，再补给我$1。

我不知道是不是又遇上一位不老实小贩，但是这样的事被我遇上好几回。

19 Apr 2015 (Sun), watching the MediaCorp Star Awards presentation ceremony, I have mixed feelings, the winners are struggling through, do not taken for granted. And those who had no award, hardworking too, do not be discouraged.

I had struggled through for many years for my awards.

看新传媒红星大奖颁奖礼，感触良多，得奖者是经过一翻努力奋斗，不是理所当然的。没有得奖者也不是没有做工的，不必气馁。
多年的努力, 我也得过奖.

Leader must have ear to listen, one CO like to lead the Officers and SNCOs for evening run at 1730hrs. Many regulars (I was one of them) took evening classes to upgrade themselves. But they wanted to do it secretly did not openly to get excuse from duty, etc. the every evening run have posed a problem to those who were attending night classes. Hence, I took one opportunity, seeing that the CO was in good mood. I expressed to him the matter, he was very angry at that moment, however, he stopped the evening run for SNCOs and Officers. me too, I was so excited first time saw apple trees in Australia. My signaller, Junxian, who was a 'A level' NS man, first time saw long beans growth on tree in 1988 during overseas ex, he ran to me, "Encik, encik, long beans growth on trees.' second part of the story was, another day we saw a silum illumination stick hung on a tree branch, I told him, 'Junxian, Junxian , silum growth on tree.' haha, I had a lot of fun with Junxian during R&R before another unit's training frame started. - extracted from '37 years served in Singapore Artillery'.
