4D and Toto

退休后，没有了固定收入，我很少买万字票和多多，那天（12/1/10）是我的生日，在Jalan Sultan（在Aliwal Street毗邻）一间回民餐厅吃一顿好丰富的午餐后，继续去Sophia Hill南华女子中学校的路上，在Sophia Road看见有一间马会的投注站，心血来潮，破戒买了三期万字票（13/1/10, 16/1/10, 17/1/10）和多多System 7一张（14/1/10）。今天打开电脑核对，其中一组万字票号码，开出二奖，我中了$2000。真高兴。

I had stopped buying 4D and Toto since retired. However, on 12/1/10, it was my birthday, after treating myself with a good lunch in a muslim restaurant at Jalan Sultan (near Aliwal Street), I proceed to Sophia Hill to Nam Hua School. At Sophia Road, I saw a Singapore Pools outlet, and with birthday luck, I felt that I would win some money and I walked in to place my bet. I bet for 4D on 3 dates（13/1/10, 16/1/10, 17/1/10）and a Toto System 7 on（14/1/10）。When I checked the 4D results today, I found that I am $2000 richer as I had struck second prize on 17/1/10.

我们期待新，新年，新开始，新工作，新环境，新家，新朋友……。

过去种种比如昨日死，以后种种比如今日生，以前的事就像昨天一样全都已经过去了，以后的事就当作从今天刚刚重新开始

忘记过去，重新开始新生活。

哥林多后书 5章17节：若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人。旧事已过，都变成新的了。

加拉太书 2章20节：我已经与基督同钉十字架。现在活着的，不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着。并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的儿子而活，他是爱我，为我舍己。

我得神的感动，接受了耶稣基督救恩后，第一件是下定决心不再买万字票。其实我不是每期都买万字票，我暗中算过，我是赢多过输，因为我明白一个道理，每期买一定输，也会越买越大。

1976年，新婚前就连续星期六和星期日中了万字票，之后不敢再买了，”把这好运留给人生中别的事上”，不要花完。

好多年前，庆祝校庆，炮兵学校曾经游南部岛屿，在龟岛上，我的同事叫我向龟岛上的印度神求真字，我除了以”把这好运留给人生中别的事上”来阻挡外，我还对自己说”不可一见面就求财(要钱)”.

2010年，为自己低调庆祝60岁时，去南华女子中学校，缅怀我的小学，在Sophia Road万字票投注站买了几组号码，又中了，最近一次是出席一位旧上司母亲的喪礼，同行者无意中说了一对字，我又刚好经过那间Sophia Road万字票投注站，我又中了。

得到神的感动，接受了耶稣基督救恩，决心不再买万字票。阿门。

上主日学笔记（3）

求学时，按时上课，下课，做功课，考试，毕业。工作时，按时上班，下班，在规定的时间完成上司交代的事务，月底领薪水，年资够了，升级。冥冥中，这都是神永恒的旨意，都为世人写好了的一生蓝图。

诗篇90,10节：我们一生的年日是七十岁。若是强壮可到八十岁。但其中所矜夸的，不过是劳苦愁烦。转眼成空，我们便如飞而去。

以弗所书2章10节：我们原是他的工作，在基督耶稣里造成的，为要叫我们行善，就是神所预备叫我们行的。

退休的最大乐趣是有很多自己的时间，可以去做自己喜欢做的事。

我在新加坡武装部队工作了37年，包括2年国民服役和2年DXO。

在2008年2月18日，完全退休，那年58岁，如果能活到80岁，我应该剩下22年（8030天）。我要好好的享受这8030天，好好读这本神的话语：圣经。

世人出现在这世上，这都是神永恒的旨意，原是神的工作，神为世人写好了的一生蓝图，就好像我在炮兵学校的工作，为每一批国民服役人员设计训练课程表，再跟据训练课程表完成训练

I tuned to radio listen to news broadcasts, javelin throwing accident, stabbed someone doing distance measuring. In an Artillery Games, the same thing happened, God blessed, no deaths, thank the Lord, Amen.

楼上谁家一件华人女服掉落在我的竹干上。我把女服用一衣架挂好，写了一张通俗简单华文便条，因为女服是一件华人衣服。把衣架和衣服挂在楼下电梯口的布告处。

“谁家的衣服掉落在我的竹干”

傍晚下楼开信箱，衣服有人认领了，还留字感谢。

One lady Chinese evening wear had dropped on my bamboo stem. I put the evening wear on a cloth hanger, attached with a Chinese note (because it was a Chinese cloth), and then I hung the cloth on the noticeboard at ground level next to the elevator.

In the evening, when I went downstairs to open the letter box, someone had claimed the cloth, and on the same picec of paper wrote an acknowledge note with appreciation.

We had had long discussion over verses Luke 16: 1 – 9.
