节省能原运动

回首37年在炮兵44

我认为人类最伟大的发明是车轮。有人却说人类最伟大的发明是冷气机(空调)。

1970 -1980年， 冷气机不是很普及，在兵营里只有CO办公室有冷气机。在炮兵学校只有军官课室有冷气机。

有没有冷气机带来很多士气问题，使兵士很不满意。

从27/10/1975到16/10/1978，我在24炮兵。1977年2月，Cpt Tan Song Mong从Maj Chan Cheow Nam手中接过司令员的棒子。

1977年，新加坡武装部队热烈的展开一项节省能原运动。Cpt Tan Song Mong支持这项节省能原运动，以身作则，他不开CO办公室的冷气机，以便节省能原。

附件是一位兵士的投诉信。

Economical Drive

I supposed the greatest human invention is the wheel. But some said the greatest invention of mankind is the air conditioner. 

1970-1980, air conditioner was not so popular, and only CO offices and lecture room for officers had air-conditioner. There was no air conditioner for other rank lecture rooms, hence, created a lot of morale problems, made soldiers very unhappy.

I was in 24 SA from 27/10/1975 to 16/10/1978. Cpt Tan Song Mong had taken over the command baton from Maj Chan Cheow Nam in February 1977.

In 1977, the Singapore Armed Forces launched a campaign called ‘Save energy’ or ‘Economical Drive’. Cpt Tan Song Mong supported the campaign by leadership by example - he did not switch on the air conditioner in his office in order to save energy.

灵命生日

基督渔人团契

谭笑梅姐妹，

今天我有了一个灵命生日.......... 6月6日定为我的灵命生日。

感谢主，2013年6月6日给我两小时，在基督渔人团契会议厅3A与4位姐妹相交，增进了我属灵的成长，改正了我一些误解。

我们都是因信耶稣而成为神的儿女。从神的话语和4位姐妹的提醒，得救不是因为个人的行为, 是神，我们的天父，的恩赐。

我会天天求主耶稣帮助我，时时和天父对话，祈祷，感谢这位创造天地万物的神，赐我和主内弟兄姐妹每天的生命食粮和平安。

我正想买一本比较轻便的圣经，想不到主早就知我心意，通过基督渔人团契使我得偿所愿，感谢主。
